The Challenge

Zalmi wanted to get out of just being a Pashtun Team, but a team for all cricket fans across the country. Till this anthem, their songs and taglines were mostly in Pashto, only relevant to the regional fan base.

The Solution

Zalmi had to venture away from the traditional Pashto taglines into something more universal, something every Pakistani could own and chant with ease, something that became HUM ZALMI! (WE ARE THE YOUTH) … We took on board the best Pakistani Alternative Rock Band ” Call” to roar the chant HUM Zalmi on the most Ethinic sounding beats, featuring Leo Twins bringing in the traditional Pashto melodies through Rubab & Cello.
